#BirthdayBants: I'm a Year Older, OOTD & I saw Brad Paisley In Concert...

Hello Loves.

So I turned one year older exactly one week ago from today. August 24th.
(Can any of you guess my age? - Put your guesses in the comment box below).

I really really loved my birthday this year, and I am grateful to be growing into the young lady, err, I mean woman I am becoming. (lol)

For my birthday this year, I chose to dress up in neutral colors as I can't seem get enough of them lately. A pop of color here and there on lots of neutrals really does the trick for me these days - A purse, lip color, shoes... you get the idea!

Well, my lips were my pop of color on my birthday.

I paired this very feminine skirt with a sorta matching top, and pulled things together with my black shoe with chain detailing.

Gold accessories, eye-shadow, and a bright pink/purple lips completed the look.

And what's a birthday Photoshoot without some selfies?

And that's it!!!

I thought about sharing details on my birthday celebration on this post, but since I've never really done something of that nature on the blog, I decided to keep that to myself and just share my look of the day (LOTD).
If posts like that interests you and you'd like to see me post more on my birthday weekend + celebration, please let me know in the comment section. I shared much on the celebration on my Instagram page (@thediylady). Those of you following me pretty much saw a lot of it, especially the highlight of this birthday which was getting surprised by my awesome boyfriend to see Brad Paisley perform LIVE on his Crushin It World Tour!! Yes, That was EPIC!!!

I saw him LIVE y'all! LIVE! And, I took pictures! I got amazing pictures, but I won't over saturate this post.

NOTE: In case you're wondering, I ended up having my phone in my hand for more of this shoot because I took these pictures all by myself with my tripod stand. I tried to make it look like I was just so very much interested in my phone, but the truth is, I had to control the camera using an app on my phone. I realized when I got home that every picture I had from the day was on my phone, and I just wanted to take some quality pictures for documentation purposes for you guys with my camera.

I do have a small remote for my camera, but the way that day was set up, I couldn't be bothered with getting it. Anyhoo, I hope y'all don't mind the phone too much in my pictures.

Thanks for coming by,
Till Later, God Bless.
