Festive Waffle Recipe with Real California milk

This post is sponsored by Real California Milk but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

Hello world and welcome to my favorite season of the year! A season for all things festive, all things bright and colorful! Picture this, family gatherings, festive music in the background and everyone enjoying the festive waffle I'm going to share with you in today's post using products with the Real California Milk seal. I love using products with the seal because they're wholesome, quality products made from sustainably sourced milk from family farms.

Having my daughter be a part of this food making process really encourages her to eat and it just reminds me of making holiday food with my family when I was younger.

To make this festive waffle for your family, you'll need:

Ingredients:
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour*
4 teaspoons baking powder*
¼ teaspoon salt*
1 ½ tablespoons white sugar*
2 eggs, beaten
2 ¼ cups Real California Milk
¾ cup melted butter (Real California Milk)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Butter with Real California Milk seal
Food coloring if desired

*Can skip if you have a good premade waffle mix you love

Directions:
Step 1: In a large bowl, combine all dry Ingredients. In a separate bowl, beat together milk, butter, eggs, vanilla extract and food coloring.

Step 2: Preheat waffle iron.

Step 3: Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture, using a wooden spoon or spatula to blend. Stir until it's just blended together. A little lumps are fine, make sure not to over stir.

Step 4: Scoop the batter into waffle iron, and cook until crisp and golden brown.

Enjoy with colorful festive fruits/peppermints.
