Blabbing and an Apology

Ohhhh.. Look at that ^^^ a Dramatic Post Title!!!

I bet I you're curious now uhn? lol... Ok, really though, this for real I have an apology.
This is a blabbing post, so let's get to it.

I started blogging because I enjoyed painting my nails so much and decided it was time to have a place to put all my 'work' together, and be part of a community that appreciates my new found hobby.
I found so many amazing blogs, and started commenting on a lot of the blogs. I made "friends" with some amazing ladies, and I've been very happy since I started blogging (October 2011).

I'm now following so many blogs, and I enjoy each and everyone of the blogs I seem to be finding on a daily basis. This is where my Apology come to play.

The More Awesome Blogs I find, The less time I have to check them all out and comment. :-(
Real Life events, Hunting down deals and my facebook page seems to be tasking. Also, since just about every blogger now has a facebook page, I see their pictures on here, and "like" them, and keep it moving. But, I want to go beyond that because I know it makes me feel good when people comment on my blog. I want to be able to leave comments on people's blogs too.

I'm sorry if I have been MIA from your blogs. I used to be a "regular commenter" on some of you lovely ladies blog. I feel like I should apologize for my MIA-ness. lol...
I know I don't need to apologize, but I want to, so, I'm doing it. I need to figure out specific day/time to checking out blogs and commenting. This is the only way I think I'll be able to keep up. I really Truly love seeing what everyone is doing on their blog.

I miss commenting and letting you all know how wonderful your swatches/designs are.
I know I've said this before, but honestly, Comment leaving on some of your blogs will be a lot faster if a lot of bloggers take the "captcha phrase" off their blogs. LOL.. Call me Lazy but I really dislike typing those two google words every time I have to post a comment on certain blogs.
Majority of the bloggers I've talked to about this don't even know they have captcha phrases on their blogs.
So, if you're one of the people who don't know, now would be a good time to check it out and possibly fix it? Lol...

To fix it, you can check under your "comment setting".
Some people have the captchas to prevent spam, but I'll like to announce that blogger has a good spam detector thing in place, and if you're still worried, you can just choose to approve every comment before they are posted on your blog.

I like my blog to be interactive, and that's why I make some Posts about "blabbing".
Anyhoo, I hope you all accept my apology for being MIA on some of your blogs. I'm working on things, and I should be back to checking out and commenting on the gazillion number of blogs I'm following soon.

Till Later Y'all, God Bless.

  1. KarenD posted about this a while back and I switched my blog to this setting then. It does cut down on the time needed to comment, thats for sure!

    1. yep! Definitely cuts it down. I find myself reading and commenting, and then moving on... when I don't have to type some random words.

Without the words,I even go all out and leave 2-3 comments on blogs. lol.. If I get the words the first time, I am discouraged to leave other comments.

  2. I spend my lunch hour at work commenting and checking things out and I have a very old version of IE which the captcha dosen't even show up on! I feel so bad that I don't comment, but the only time I really have to comment I am unable to :(

    1. Yeah, I understand. Sometimes, I finish typing a comment only to find out the captcha didn't load well, and I have to put my comment again.
Sometimes it loads, and I get the words wrong, and then I have to do it over and over again. That's discouraging. :-(

I know most bloggers don't know their blogs have this, but I will keep spreading the word till they do.

  4. I really suck at commenting but I really make an effort to comment on some blogs every day. I'll go check the captcha on my blog, but if you ever come across it on my blog, or have any recommendations otherwise on how to make commenting easier, I'm sure we'll all like to know :)

    2. Thanks. and may I just say, I think it's awesome that you make the time to reply each of your comments individually - it's really nice :)

  5. That's another reason for me not to be on Facebook. Commenting here, there and everywhere do take time, so I'll just stay here for now. :)

    1. Yeah, I understand you. But for me, it's the easiest way to share all the deals and bargains I find. If I made a blog post for every deal, my blog will be like a "spam". lol..

There are some freebies that only last an hour. I don't want to dedicate a whole blog post to them. That's why Facebook is good.
