Two Posts in a day? Say it ain't so!!! Lol... I've got free time on my hand, so reviews and swatches are kicking in my loves!
Right now, I have Zoya - Lolly to show you!!!
I got this polish a while back and just didn't get chance to wear it ever since.
Then, I put it on my nail, and I wondered why the heck it took me so long to wear it.
This is a matte polish, and one of the colors from Zoya - Mod Mattes.
A very Hot Pink nail polish that is just perfect for summer!
Application was a bit streaky when I tried to apply it in thin strokes. I discovered that to have no streaks, You have to literally GLOB on the Polish. Lol... But fear not, it's matte and dries in good timing. To have no streaks, apply the polish in two thick/heavy coats, and use the brush to gently spread it on the nail. This means that clean up will have to be a slight chore, but it's so worth it... let it dry for about 5 minutes before you begin clean up.
Doesn't it just looks yummy? I couldn't bring myself to apply topcoat to it. I love bright colors and how well they compliment my skin tone. :-)

That looks awesome! I have a few Revlon matte suede's and I think they're georgous. They r slightly tricky to apply but totally worth it!

ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of matte polishes, but I have lolly and it was streaky as you said. And you do need to get that second thick coat on to hide the streaks but it looks great on you!
ReplyDeletelove this color! i'm not a fan of matte polishes though, they're so streaky which makes em hard to work with! i prefer using a matte top coat to achieve similar looks (:
